Sgt Tim Ansell struggled against 27-yr-old Jacob Brown after he pressed a knife to the neck of his partner Sgt Marc Foster.

Brown launched his attack as the law enforcement personnel and their partner, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a driver subsequent to a vehicle incident in Whalley Range in mid-2023.
