Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
